WorthingtonWound™ is our most dynamic architectural fiberglass column offering both strength and durability needed for any project. These round and square columns incorporate filament wound technology to manufacture our architectural fiberglass columns to produce a very lightweight yet strong load capacity up to 20,000 lbs. Backed by our limited lifetime warranty; these columns are built to last a lifetime. The greatest advantage to the lightweight design is that it saves time and money during installation. The wall thickness on the wound fiberglass columns vary between 3/16″ and ¼” wall thickness and in most cases a crane is not needed while installing these columns. Our entire filament wound fiberglass column collection offers the correct architectural proportions with the 1/3 – 2/3 entasis of an architecturally correct column. Adjustable fluting options and decorative capitals including the Temple of Winds, Scamozzi, Roman Corinthian and Roman Ionic are also available in both our round and square Worthington Wound fiberglass columns.
