Worthington offers our wood columns collection in two types of architectural columns. These wood columns provide the perfect complement for the interior and exterior of any home project. Worthington’s Classic wood columns are our most economical wood column and are designed for interior use only. Available in plain or fluted styles, these classic columns feature a non-tapered for the bottom one-third and a straight taper for the top two-thirds. Perfect for when designing on a budget. For the higher end project Worthington recommends our Architectural grade wood column. These columns follow the designs of classic architecture and are truly “architecturally correct” columns. Available in your choice of square or round, plain or fluted as well as a Greek Doric style fluted column, we offer these columns in “true” measurements and they columns are considered our top wood column in both quality and design. We use our thickest grade of wood for paint grade or stain grade options and an exterior grade column is also available.
